Whether it’s the thrill of being competitive or the chance to paddle with the seals, the Lotus Sports Club will have a program for you. We encourage you to come and try Outrigger Canoe programs on this stunningly beautiful area of waterfront!

Lotus programs
The Lotus Sports Club offers a safe and positive setting for instruction and training for paddlers of all age and experience levels who wish to paddle in outrigger canoes. Lotus offers scheduled novice, recreational & competitive programs.

* CORA annual paddlers’ insurance is $40 and can be paid online at CORA membership
Drop-In
To make it easier for you to decide whether outrigger paddling is for you, the Lotus Sports Club offers a flexible “Drop-In” arrangement. Instead of paying our full annual membership fee, you have the opportunity to try a few of our scheduled Recreational Outrigger practices as a non-member.
You can come out to three practices at $10/session. After the third session, the drop-in fee will be $25/session plus paddlers will need to pay the annual CORA (Canadian Outrigger Racing Association) insurance of $40.
Off-Season Membership
Membership fees are prorated for members joining the Lotus Sports Club recreational program in the months of September to February (annual membership fees are due April 1).

Lotus Handbook
The Lotus Handbook (2025) is an important resource for all members and contains Safety Rules, Regulations and information about the club.

Outrigger and SUP memberships require mandatory CORA insurance which are paid online at CORA membership
