Congratulations to all teams who braved the chill of winter to race in the 2012 Lotus IceBreaker V12 Race. It was a wonderful way to start off the year!
Many thanks to FCRCC and VOS for showing so much aloha spirit in lending us hulls and helping with unrigging and loading boats – we couldn’t put on this race without you. Thanks, too, to the teams in the final heat who helped bring the boats back to the clubhouse and unrig after their heat.

Registration:
$180 per team for adult teams
$120 per team for junior teams
All paddlers must pay 2012 CORA fees - please see Page 8 of the race package for the CORA membership form.
Categories:
Adult Open Mixed (minimum 6 females per team) or
Junior Mixed (minimum 6 females per team)
Schedule:
Registration opens at 8:15 am.
Steersperson’s meeting will take place 30 minutes before each heat.
First heat begins at 9:15 am with subsequent heats approximately every 45 minutes.
Heat Assignment: Complete the electronic registration above or FAX completed registration forms to the Race Registrar at 604-939-3539 or e-mail form to gmorisee@shaw.ca. When sending in registration, please make sure that your preferred heat time is indicated and that your e-mail address is legible. Your team contact will be notified of your heat time. Teams registering on race day will be assigned a heat at that time, if spots are still available.
Equipment: Double-hulled (V12) boats will be supplied. PFD’s are mandatory and must be worn properly by all paddlers - PFD’s are available. A limited number of paddles can be made available on request when you register – please bring your own paddle.
Concession: Hot soup, beverages and home baking will be available for purchase. The concession will be a fundraiser for the Lotus junior team’s latest project to help those in need.
Awards: Place prizes will be awarded after each heat. Race results will be posted on this website.
Hot Tub: There will be a hot tub on site for your après race enjoyment.
