Mar 20 - Club Clean-Up Day

This year’s club clean-up has been scheduled for Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 10:00 am, a week before our Paddling Season Opening meeting.

All paddlers using the clubhouse are encouraged to help get the building and boats ready for paddling season. There will be a job list posted in the office area – please come out and help with jobs including; taking inventory, cleaning, doing some minor repairs and maintenance on outriggers and dragon boats, helping with clubhouse repairs and maintenance, power washing the area in front of the clubhouse, etc.

Let’s start the new paddling year with a clean, organized clubhouse!
Mar 28 - Season Opening

There will be a meeting for all Lotus Sports Club paddlers on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 10:30am at the clubhouse. This is your chance to meet the coaches, hear about the plans for the various programs in the club, find out about team selection, see how race sign up and boat assignment is going to work, and much more. This is an opportunity for another social get together with paddlers from all Lotus programs to celebrate the start of a promising racing season. Weekday practices start after this meeting.
Mar 14 - Directors Meeting

The next meeting of the Lotus Board of Directors will be on Sunday, March 14.

The Lotus Sports Club Board of Directors has been elected by the membership to represent the paddlers of all Lotus programs. All members are encouraged to communicate with any of the directors and to forward items for discussion to the Board. Your continuing communication and participation ensures that you have input into club programs and activities, and to decisions made by the Board of Directors on your behalf.

Notification for submission of agenda items will be sent out prior to each meeting and minutes of all meetings will be posted at the clubhouse and on the Lotus website. All club members are welcome to attend the Board meetings.
