Lotus Hybrid Program Membership (Outrigger & Dragon Boat)
Membership to the Hybrid Program includes coaching, use of paddles, use of lifejackets, and use of boats. The annual membership rates for the Lotus Hybrid Program are:
- Adult: $330 + Annual CORA Insurance Fees
- Student: $165 + Annual CORA Insurance Fees (full-tme students only)
- Family: $500 + Annual CORA Insurance Fees for each family member
Dragon Boat Membership
If you are interested in putting together your own dragon boat team for the upcoming dragon boat season, we have competitive rates and a great venue! Please email dragonboat@lotussports.com for more information. The annual membership rate for a dragon boat membership is:
- Adult: $150
Insurance Fees
As Hybrid Program paddlers compete in both outrigger canoe and dragon boat races, insurance coverage is needed for both sports. Annual membership to the Canadian Outrigger Racing Association (CORA) covers paddlers for outrigger canoeing, while Allsport covers paddlers for dragon boat (insurance fee is included in your Lotus membership). The associated annual fee for outrigger paddler's insurance is:
- CORA: $25
