The Lotus Sports Club offers instruction and training for paddlers of all age and experience levels who wish to race in a variety of non-powered watercraft such as dragon boats and outrigger canoes. Based at the Barnet Marine Park on beautiful Indian Arm, the Lotus Sports Club strives to develop an awareness and appreciation of the ocean, fresh water and foreshore.
2013 Lotus Iron Race
In 1989, the Lotus Sports Club organized the first outrigger race in Canada, the Lotus Iron. On Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30 you can be part of history and race in the 2013 Lotus Iron and Small Boats Races.
